The loop

The model sees the task. It does not see the identity.

QuietPII reads a prompt on your computer, finds personal identification information, and replaces each item with a placeholder. You copy that text into the LLM you prefer. When the reply returns, you paste it back and QuietPII restores the original details.

What QuietPII does with a prompt.

It finds personal identification information in a prompt and replaces it with placeholders. You send that version to an LLM. When you paste the reply back, QuietPII restores the original information.

The values QuietPII replaces stay on your computer. You copy the placeholder version into the LLM. Review the cleaned prompt before you send it, because no detector can promise that every sensitive detail has been found.

None of its own. QuietPII prepares the prompt and restores the reply. You keep using the LLM you already prefer.
